Welcome!

Home SCADA is for people interested in Home Automation and Control.  This could be as simple as a sensor that monitors a single door or a device which controls one or more strings of multicolor LEDs.  It could have inputs and/or outputs and take action at a particular time, or upon a specific triggering event.  It could also be a multiple sensor and alarm system which communicates among the sensors, even sending alarms to and accepting commands from your cell phone or tablet.  It could be a pump controller, activated on high or low level.  It could even be bicycle front and rear lights!  Home Automation and Control spans quite a range of possiblities.  Here is another idea.

If you've been thinking about device control or designing and implementing that type of system in your own home or business, we're offering to assist you.  We want to help you create the system that you envision.  We're offering to give you some additional ideas for how to do what you want to do and what else can be done.  We want to both show you what is possible and teach you how to actually deploy it inexpensively.  Stated another way, we'd like to be your Control System Coach.

Our devices use the ATmega family of microcontrollers, but contain an Operating System, rather than using a boot loader.  There are versions for the 328P, 1284P and 2560 MCUs.  MIRTOS is written in Assembly Language, so it is both compact and VERY fast.  Many of the control devices and ideas presented here do not require that you learn a programming language to use them.  Of course, if you do want to learn how to program them, help is available here.  Please don't be intimidated by Assembly Language.  It's a lot simpler and easier than you may think!  We'll be happy to show you and teach you how to use it.

All of the items listed here are available for sale now.  The devices with MIRTOS are fully functional and complete, as are the files and tools offered here.  This website itself, however, is still in development, so some of the webpages are not working perfectly yet.  We are continuing to update the web content daily, so please take a few minutes to examine it and see what you might be able to learn and create!  Please check back often!
